Hi, my name is Janet Zacharias, and I am raising money to help the Brooks family. As many of you know, Kyle Brooks was hospitalized in the fall of 2024 with a severe infection that lead to a serious spinal cord injury. After many months in hospital and a long road to recovery, he is ready to return home!

One of the barriers to his return is that he requires a wheelchair lift to help him access the main level of their home. This lift is not covered by insurance or Alberta Health Services, and the cost of the lift and its' installation is estimated to be roughly $8,500. Having Kyle home again will greatly relieve the stress of daily hospital visitations for Erin, and the disruption to the family of having their dad absent for so long.
