Kyle Benson - Husband, Father and Friend to All

Many had their world's turned upside down on August 7th 2022. Kyle - a loving husband to Mary Carroll, father to Caroline (These two women were his universe), and friend to all passed away due to heart complications.

Kyle's Memorial service will be on Friday, August 26th at 1:00pm at St Peters United Methodist Church - 20775 Kingsland Blvd Katy, TX 77450.

Kyle was an alumni of Texas A&M, and was a “Fightin’ Aggie” through and through. He was often referred to as Everyone’s Favorite Aggie. Kyle truly had a servants heart. Over the years he gave his time to numerous charitable organizations to help our community:

• Big Brothers & Big Sisters (Houston)

• GenerationRX Ambassador

• DEA Citizen’s Academy, Class#7 (2022)

o He won an award for Most Intelligent Citizen (they even gave him a plaque!)

• Spearheaded his local work team’s volunteerism for Houston Food Bank

To know Kyle was to love him. His heart was BIG and he was loved big in return. Kyle unintentionally made everyone around him better. Kyle made a large and successful effort to be a consistent mentor and resource to younger generations inside and outside of his career. Kyle was always willing to share his knowledge and experience, but also open to learning new and different ways. Kyle was wise in his many roles: husband, dad, teammate/partner and friend, but never took himself “too seriously”. He was quick witted and had a great sense of humor that was ALWAYS on display. He was always ready with a joke or funny story to keep spirits high.

He was and will always be a light and safe place so many of us desperately need. Kyle ultimately was devoted to giving without ever expecting anything in return. Kyle would want his girls taken care of and we owe it to Kyle, the guy who would give you the shirt off his back, to do just that. This page has been created to help Kyle's family with any financial needs that arise. While we hope you donate, if you can't we ask that you continue to pray for strength for those that knew and loved Kyle.
