Kyle and Herb Klepper

On the morning of Saturday September 21st Kyle Klepper and his father Herb Klepper were involved in a rollover accident that rocked our small community of Pawnee City, NE. This tragic accident resulted in the loss of Kyle, who was taken from this earth long before he deserved to be. Kyle was a sophomore at PCHS and wanted nothing more than to get his truck running for when he turned 16. In the days following the accident family and friends pitched in and got the truck in working condition so that he can be taken to his final resting spot in the one earthy possession that he cherished most. He was like a little brother to everyone, not just his family.
Kyle’s father, Herb, was also seriously injured in the accident. He was life flighted to a Lincoln hospital where he has continues to fight for his life. He has already undergone multiple procedures and surgeries, and is getting better everyday. His family is his strength, and they have been by his side constantly, only leaving the hospital once or twice since the accident.
This fund was created to help the family through this nightmare that is their reality. It will help them with funeral costs, hospital bills, lost wages, etc. The last thing they should have to worry about at this time is their financial stability. If you cannot donate monetarily at this time, offer your thoughts and prayers to the family, because they can use as much as they can get.
Visitation for Kyle will be on Friday September 27th at the Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, greeting of family will be from 6-8 pm. His funeral will be the following morning, September 28th at 10:00 am in the school gymnasium. It was made request of the family that if anyone has classic cars or trucks they would be willing to drive to the funeral that it would be greatly appreciated, as they were one of Kyle’s favorite things.
Again, thoughts and prayers are requested for the repose of the sweet soul of Kyle, continued recovery of Herb, and healing to all family, friends, EMS providers, firefighters and medical staff involved in this horrific event.
