Help Kyle afford medical bills

Hi there ! Some of you may remember my gofundme from last year when I reached out for support to help get some diagnoses, answers, and start treatments. It has now been a little over a year and I have been diagnosed with Fibromyaligia, Hypermobile Elhers Danlos Syndrome, and Migraines with Aura/Hemipelgic Migraines. I have been cycling through multiple different types of preventative and pain management medications with some results and I see a wonderful neurologist every 3 months. Unfortunately I am writing this as I turned 26 and aged out of my health insurance while I did take the steps to maintain coverage I wont be covered until August 1st and the preventative medications I am on (which much be refridgerated and cant be stockpiled like my other meds) are over $1k without insurance and my neuro appointment is over $150 without insurance as well. Although I have a ton of support from my partners making it possible for me to only work weekends and live a much more energized life due to the large amount of rest I am able to get, the reality is I work very little and affording new insurance and out of pocket costs for the month of July is basically impossible. I am very privledged to live a very comfortable life with so much support but this unforseen failing of the healthcare system will leave me potentially destabilized much longer than just the rest of July. The goal is to be able to sign up for the insurance that will allow me to access my doctors appointments and medications again in August and manage the pain flares that will come with being unmedicated.

Hi I am Kyle and for as long as I can remember I have been in pain. It is extremely hard for me to reach out for support & write something like this to my community because I know there are so many people diagnosised with such serious medical issues but unfortunately I have to face the fact that I am one of them. I know that I have to push myself for the opportunity to find answers, treatment, and relief. I have had a migraine more than 20 days a month for at least the last 5 years (its easier to wrap my brain around when I quantify it like this.) During a migraine I often suffer from loss of vision, numbness and tingling in my hands and face, brain fog that lasts for hours, aphasia and extreme pain. In addition to migraines I suffer from chronic fatigue and pmdd making working regular hours and holding down a traditional job nearly impossible. I finally took the steps to be referred to a rhumatologist, nuerologist, and psychologist as well as a chronic pain specialist to hopefully help me get a diagnosis that will lead me to some answers for the pain I have been suffering through since birth. Unfortunately all of this is not cheap and I am hardly able to afford regular bills and the idea of covering 5+ new doctors visits and countless new prescriptions is truly terrifying.
