Kyla - a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, friend, classmate and niece - has recently suffered a tragic accident. While skating in Jensen Beach, she fell and severely fractured her skull. This resulted in an acute subdural hematoma, which is a very serious traumatic brain injury. She was airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach where she underwent a craniotomy. While Kyla survived this major, invasive neuro-surgery that many do not, she has a long road to the full recovery for which we all hope.

We all know Kyla as a lifeguard, skater, surfer, student, cheerleader, volunteer and person who is compassionate, dedicated to her community and an inspiration to others.  First and foremost, we ask that you pray for her recovery.
