For those less familiar, I am a trans woman who has been transitioning for 3 years now! At this point in my transition, hormonal therapy has maximized it's effects, inclusive of changes to my face. For the sake of passing as a cis woman in public and prioritizing my safety, I am seeking out Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS)- a surgery that modifies the facial structure to resemble a CIS woman.

This is crucial to my transition process as living in New York and most places can be dangerous for Transgender Women and surgeries like this can be life saving. For those who are close to me and my transition, you know this has been a primary goal in my life the past two years. As of recent, I have been blessed with a job opportunity at a new company whose insurance covers FFS and the paid time off I will need to recover. However, there will be out of pocket costs and deductibles to meet with insurance, which I am asking your help to fund. My out of pocket maximum will be $7,000 and I have set a goal of raising $5,000!

I plan on having my surgery with Dr. Kuperstock, who I know will take amazing care of me with his team. His office is located in Fairfax, Virginia.
