Hello, My name is Aaliyah,
On January 6th, 2023, my children Jasiah, 7; Kensley, 5; Chase, 4; Kaylin, 3; Kyla, five months, and I were involved in a horrific car accident that resulted in all of us being hospitalized; and my 5-month-old Kyla, passing! Yes, my beautiful baby girl, Kyla, has passed away, leaving us grief-stricken. My heart is heavy, and I am sad. Kyla was so special. I always knew she would be a little different from the rest of my babies, and she was. Kyla slept through the night since birth, always laughing and smiling (she got that from her mama, lol). She was ALWAYS a happy baby. As soon as anyone picked her up, they would get attached to her beautiful smile as if it were love at first sight. I am still trying to understand why Kyla was taken away from us. Lord knows I do not understand. That was my first car wreck, and it caused my baby’s life. I know that I have to continue to be strong for my other four children as well as myself and be thankful that it was not a whole lot worse. However, it is very hard.
As a result of the accident, I broke my femur bone and my pelvis. I have a rod extending from my thigh past my knee, which limits my movement. Therefore, I am unable to work to support my family. I am asking for donations to assist with funeral arrangements and help with supporting my family during this difficult time.
I ask that in lieu of flowers, if you will, please consider donating towards the funeral costs and arrangements to help us honor the life of that beautiful, happy soul of hers. My family and I will set Funeral arrangements at a later date. At this time, I am still at the hospital recovering, and I hope to be home soon.
