Kyiv-by-Christmas Challenge

Staff across the British Embassy and Consulate network in Spain are raising funds to go towards much-needed armoured ambulances and humanitarian aid in Ukraine this winter.

We have set ourselves the challenge of collectively (and virtually) covering the entire distance from the British Embassy in Madrid to the British Embassy in Kyiv by running, walking, swimming and cycling. We hope to raise 1 euro for every kilometre we cover (3,294 kilometres = 3,294 Euros) and hit our goal by 6 January 2024 in time for the 3 Kings Christmas holiday in Spain.

Staff will be volunteering their personal time, at weekends and after work, to contribute towards this goal in the hope we can purchase this vital medical assistance for Ukraine.

We are grateful for any donation you can give to sponsor our efforts and help raise our funds. Once the challenge is over, we will hand over a cheque with all money raised to our partners in the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid for their armoured ambulance appeal.
