My Story

I am a healthy 49 year old Personal Trainer and sole owner of Her Personal Training.  Herpersonaltraining.com

I started my own personal training studio 2 years ago.  I was growing the business part-time while working a full time job until November 2016.  I took the leap of faith and left my full-time job to focus on my passion to help women get fit and healthy.  God has blessed me to do what I love and help women tranform their lives to live a healthier life.  I preach to all my clients and tell them to make themselves a priority and take care of themselves.  Preventative measures are necessary to keep us healthy such as exercise before you HAVE to, due to obesity and medical conditons that are unreversable.  (high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, etc)  This also means go to your Doctor for annual check ups.  I was so busy growing my business for 2 years that I forgot to take care of me.  So, I made my annual check up appointments; mammogram and well womens  visits.   I was not worried because I have good genes and no family history of anything to worry about.  My 1 hour mammogram visit was 3 hours with several x-rays.  Biopsy scheduled and 24 hours later I get the call, you have cancer.  This isn't suppose to happen to me.  I'm healthy and I take care of myself.  No family history.  How did this happen?  What now?  I have a business to run and women to help.........

My Wish

Cancer is a scary word and often times we look at it as a death sentence.  I will not be defeated!  I have a strong will to live and so many reasons too.  My two beautiful grandchildren, Kendyl, 18 months old and Easton, 4 months old, my son, my soul mate, Tari and all the women that need me to help live a stronger and healthier life! 

I am overwhelmed with the finacial outcome of this disease.  The stress of the cost is deadly by itself.  This is why I am asking for your support.  I need my strength to pull through this and I can't make the cost consume me or I will not be able to kick cancer in the ass!  Will you help me?  This treatment is approximatley a year long and the bills are coming in.  Any amount will help and is so much appreicated.  

My wish is to continue my life as much as possible and win this battle.  The mind is amazing and powerful to your beliefs.  I am a fighter, not a quitter.
