Jenn's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,

I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of my dear friend, Jenn Lewis (DiCampli), who is presently undergoing surgery as I write this.

This week, Jenn, Brian, and Sawyer's world was turned upside-down when Jenn learned that she had several tumors and cysts in her colon, consistent with cancer, that would require a pretty extensive, several-hour surgery to remove. The surgery includes an exploratory laparotomy, bowel resection, and a possible temporary ostomy, with the additional possibility of a nephrectomy.

As her friend, it breaks my heart to see her go through this, but I am determined to do everything in my power to support her on her journey to recovery.

For those of you who know her, Jenn is not just a friend but a beacon of light to those around her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter have touched the lives of so many. She's also an incredible mom with a heart of gold, and it's been wonderful seeing her thrive in that chapter of her life.

It's our turn to rally around her and show our unwavering support during this challenging time. Together, we can be the strength she needs to overcome this obstacle.

Unfortunately, that treatment comes with overwhelming financial burdens. Medical bills, prescriptions, and other expenses can quickly add up, placing a heavy strain on Jenn, Brian, and their growing family. That's why I've set up this GoFundMe page—to alleviate some financial stress and allow Jenn to focus on what truly matters: her health and well-being.

Your generous donations will go directly towards covering Jenn's medical expenses, treatment costs, and any additional support she may need during this time. Every contribution will make a difference in her recovery, big or small.

Please consider donating to support Jenn.

p.s. A simple prayer goes a long way, even if you can't afford to donate. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support.

Sincerely,

Jeff

Jenn is currently in recovery, and they’re waiting to hear back from the doctor on the next steps.

Jenn is currently able to eat solid foods, and the biopsy results from the colonoscopy confirmed that she did indeed have colon cancer. We are still waiting until the other pathology results come back.

From Jenn: "My colorectal doctor called a little bit ago. I’m confirmed stage 2C. I will be going through chemo. They are going to place a port on Friday, 4/19. He told me the mass in the peritoneal is nothing to worry about. When I see my oncologist on 4/10, we will talk about the extent of my treatment. I am happy that I finally have a diagnosis, but this is scary and real, and although I know chemo is the best option for me, I’m really scared to go through it."

Please send all of your good wishes and your prayers.
