Meet Kye! The 4 year old border collie who flew from Scotland all the way to Canada in 2023 to live the Canadian dream.

As of last week, Kye has been diagnosed with a rare nerve sheath tumor which has resulted in losing the ability to use his front left leg, and is progressing, now effecting his left eye. This tumor is on an aggressive course and kye has been given months left to live.

In a bid to give Kye a sporting chance at a pain free life we have been given the option of surgery to remove the nerve and tumor, aswell as amputate the leg. However, having already paid thousands on diagnosis we cannot give Kye the sporting chance he so much deserves.

Our itemised quote for surgery shows a cost of up to $9500 and we are ambitious to raise these funds in an even more ambitious time frame of less than 2 weeks from the date of Tuesday the 13th of May, because we do not know how long Kye has, and we cannot start the surgery without a $7000 deposit.

We are calling on all the kind hearts of Sunshine Coast BC and beyond, and should kyes surgery come under our quote we will be donating all proceedings to a Sunshine Coast based charity for animals in need - yet to be chosen.
