At a time when KYDS volunteers and young performers are buzzing with excitement for our upcoming production of Sister Act Jr next weekend, we’ve been met with some deeply upsetting news.

Our storage hut in Birch Woods has been seriously vandalised and broken into. While it may have held nothing of value to the culprits, it contained handmade props - painstakingly created by our volunteers and absolutely priceless to our productions and members.

The damage is significant - not just in cost, but in the time our dedicated volunteers now have to divert from the show to carry out repairs. As a small charity with limited funds, this has landed as a real blow.
