Recently Michael "The Sultan" Kiyoi went through surgery to repair his ACL. The insurance deductable was $3,500 and he is required to pay 20% of remaining costs. After an unexpected visit to the ER, multiple unplanned doctors appointments, and months of PT the estimated cost is in the 7-8 thousand range. The hope is to get enough money to cover most of the insurance deductable.
