Kyan's Road to Recovery Needs You

Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm a proud single mother of my two sons, Kyan and Joel. We are facing financial hardship due to a recent medical emergency. I am needing help to cover bills due to missed work, without pay.

On November 29th, I took Kyan to the local emergency room. He was in great pain and had trouble walking. They took a CT scan and found three masses! Definitely not the news we were expecting, considering he is a healthy 20-year-old man!

He has a mass in his brain that was growing into his cerebral fluid space wich required two surgeries to stop.

The second mass is in the bronchial split of his lungs; it is bigger than the size of a grapefruit.

The third mass is in his abdominal area.

He has had so many CT scans, MRIs, biopsies, and an EVG tube placement in his brain. Kyan spent 19 days in the hospital with his family by his side. This is a critical infection invading his body.

Since being released from the hospital on December 17th, we have a long recovery ahead of us.

He will have daily infusions (7 days a week) for 8 weeks, plus many follow-up appointments to come.
