Hi everyone!
We are collecting a *****$50 (note the change from $100)*** dinner/entertainment fee per person ahead of the Konkani Young Adult Convention. You must pay this by Friday, 4/26 at 5 PM EST, in order to be able to attend. It was $100 but we found different, cheaper options that will still let us have fun.

This fee will cover at least three major meals (1 lunch on Saturday, and two dinners-Friday and Saturday) and entertainment. Food is going to be catered and dinner reservations will be made. It is true that in downtown Chicago, three meals and activities could easily rise to well above $100 but we have negotiated prices down for our group and also have some level of subsidizing from gracious donors. This fee will help us cover the rest of it. You'll be paying ahead of time, less than what you'd have otherwise paid in person.
Please pay the $50 through the GoFundMe and when doing so, list your name so we have record of your payment. There will be some free time on Sunday morning-we will organize an informal group outing for those interested-and the optional Sunday brunch will be on your own dime-more on that later.
