Kya Strong

My name is Kim Cox and I am a realtor with the Keller Williams 5 Star Group.  In today's society, we are inundated with "influencers" on social media, but it is my team's hope you will join us today to "influence" for the good of a family whose world has been turned upside down.  My teammate, Patrick Deaver, is one of the most generous and kind people I have ever met.  He is always the first to help or respond when any of his fellow agents are in a bind.   Well as life would have it.... his granddaughter, Kya Rose Sisson, and her sweet family are in a bind and need our help.  They are not asking for help, but our team sees a need and we want to extend hope and love to a family who has had many medical needs and expenses that will continue into the months ahead. 

Kya Rose was born prematurely at 33 weeks with an Imperforate Anus which occurs in about 1 of every 5000 births.  She has a malformation of the anus and at 5 days old, she had to have a colostomy procedure performed.  A couple of months later, she had another surgery to repair an abnormality of a seperation between the larynx and the esophagus which causes dangerous aspirations.  Kya's birth defect of the imperforate anus goes hand in hand with heart and kidney abnormalities.  Kya will have various upcoming procedures as her body develops and it is safe to do so.

Kya is 5 months old and has had numerous medical tests and procedures during this COVID regulated time period.  Due to the numerous medical appointments and special care Kya needs, her mother had to resign from her job.  The Sissons have two other children, Abby is 7 and Chevy is almost 6.   This Go Fund Me account was created to help a young family with 3 kids and mounting medical bills to show them support, love, and a caring spirit in a very trying, difficult time.   Let's be their "village" as they continue to care, love, and fight for Kya.  Any amount, large or small, will be a blessing to their mounting needs.  Thank you in advance for your heart for others.
