Support Elijah's Road to Recovery

Hello there Everyone. My name is Kamera Clark I have never done this before. I am a very proud auntie of an amazing boy named Elijah David Mayorga. Since the day my sister gave birth to him we have been in complete love. Im reaching out with this gofund me to raise money for Elijah. I want him to be able to have a good amount when he is out that special people like you can bless him with. Elijah is such a beautiful, caring, loving, sweet composinate young man. He is 16 and thriving to become the best version of himself. Hes Just starting his life. He is hard working and loves to please people. He would literally give up anything to make someone else happy.

Sunday September 1, 2024 we received the call noone on this earth wants to hear. On his way to work a stop sign runner darted out in front of Elijah leaving him with no way out .. One thing he was very passionate about was work. He has always been a hardworking kid! Noone made him work or get a job. He has had a drive to make his own money since he was little boy. Elijah had no chance of even seeing it coming. The outcome is the worst nightmare we have ever been through. He has a broken pelvis. Broke femur. Broken shoulder. Fractured spine. Laceration on liver. Contusion on lung. And was sliced on the side of his neck pretty deep. He has been flown out to UMC Lubbock childrens hospital and we have been here since Sunday with weeks ahead of us. Elijah has a Long road ahead of him. He will endure many surgeries as His first one today sept 3 being the pelvis and femur. Pray for our baby to recover 100 percent. There is still alot of tests and scans and we pray so hard we don't have anything else come up. Elijah would be so grateful for any kind of help at this time. Please pray pray pray that is our biggest request we know God gots him. Thank you for reading this as i cant come up with all the right words. we are so devastated at the moment. Update: As of September 6th Elijah's lungs are not doing well. He is in a procedure today to help remove all that stuff from his lungs! We are praying hard for him and the team of doctors to be on top of everything to fix our baby!!! He is fighting for his life!! ! Praying ..sharing or donating is all we need!! Thank you so much!

We have amazing news. After a Long 3 days being intubated as Elijah's lungs collapsed he was given a procedure to get all the stuff out for him that was deep deep in the branches. He developed pnemonia over the previous 3 days waiting for the pelvis and femur surgery. So they had to go in and perform this type of treatment that would help him. After his the said procedure not even 12 hours later Elijah started breathing better and was doing so great!!! They took the tube out that evening. It's was a hard 11 days! But Elijah came back so amazing and so miraculously. He has a Long long road ahead and will do even better!!!! We thank God!! He is over all the healer and we will forever be Thanful and grateful for the outcome! We thank each and everyone who helped raise some money for Elijah!!!! He is really such a composinate caring kid!! . We sincerely thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts. Your prayers and blessings have surely shined through! We will never be able to repay all you kind souls but just know we are deeply in awe of the support and outcome. God bless you all.
