A few years ago I had the honor of meeting many donors to my IgAN Go Fund Me Page. I was able to meet many of my financial goals at that time through the kind generosity of people I have met while sharing my story on social media. I am currently unable to work, and have recently been told by my nephrologist that it is time to start getting all of the testing and ALL THE THINGS done to see if I am eligible for a healthy kidney. I am currently near end stage renal failure but I am not giving up. I have so many reasons to do whatever it takes, so that my children can have their mom in their lives as long as possible. Unfortunately, life has been expensive for me over the past few years, and I find myself once again in the position of needing to ask for help. No amount is too small as I like to give gas money to those who get me to my appointments, or to the emergency room when needed. There are other larger needs which will become more known to me as I follow this journey. I am very lucky to have amazing friends and family, as well as a vast team of specialists who are working with me to get things started. Am I scared? Yes. I’ve stayed scared much of my illness, but I also know that the Lord is my Shepherd and that he guides me thru still waters that only He can do. Your love and support are so greatly needed and appreciated at this time.
