My name is Megan. My sister Kristin and I are setting up a go fund me to help pay for funeral expenses. My family and I have unexpectedly lost our Mom June 27th 2025. She was fighting cancer for a little while now and sadly it had gotten so aggressive and finally took over. We are now needing to plan a funeral for her. The cheapest funeral for us to have came out to $9,000. She had a life insurance which covered $5,000. Leaving us with $4k. Unfortunately we are not able to make payments to the funeral home so we are looking for help with donations! ALL DONATIONS will be for my mom’s burial/funeral. We tried to get assistance with Medicaid and a town trustee and they wouldn’t help. My mom had no will and nothing planned. She always told us that she wanted to be buried and not cremated, other than that, there was nothing ever mentioned. We just want to give my mom what she wants and what she deserves.
