Urgent Help Needed: Muçum, Rio Grande do Sul

Our beloved town of Muçum in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, has been struck by an unforgiving cyclone. Worst one to date. With around 4,000 residents, Muçum holds a special place in our hearts as it is my husband's hometown.
As we write this, we haven't been able to reach our family yet, leaving us consumed with worry. Our hearts are heavy today, and we feel utterly helpless being so far away. The magnitude of this disaster is overwhelming. Homes, cars, and, tragically, loved ones have been lost. We mourn the 30+ confirmed deaths so far, with many of them being people we know.
Countless families have been left with nothing. The cyclone ripped through the town, leaving grocery stores and pharmacies depleted of supplies. Our friends and neighbors are now facing unimaginable hardships. It's time for us to come together and extend a helping hand.
We urgently need your support for our family and friends with essential supplies. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a world of difference to them. THEY LOST EVERYTHING.
Every single donation will go directly towards our family and friends. Our goal is to provide them with food, shelter, blankets, clothes, and other necessities for daily survival.
Please help us help them. And please say a prayer for our family. Thank you!

After a long 48 hours, we have heard from our family, they are safe and well! But unfortunately, just like 80% of the city, the cyclone took everything, a lifetime of hard work gone in the blink of an eye. If you are willing and able, any assistance or support you can provide would mean the world to us. We are grateful for your generosity and compassion during this difficult time. Thank you!
