In memory of our mother/grandmother:
KY TRAN (May 1st, 1948 - August 26, 2020)

Our beloved mother/grandmother passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2020 at 7:55pm. She suffered from kidney failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, and respiratory complications. She was hospitalized since February of 2020. With the world epidemic taking place in regards to COVID-19, visitations were forbidden. Our mother died alone, without her loved ones by her side as she took he last breath. Our only choice was to FaceTime her as much as we could to evaluate her and keep her company. Everyday we grieve and mourn for her as she endured many hardships in the hospital. She fought so hard to survive and all she ever wanted was to come home to see her kids and grandkids again.

Our mother/grandmother was a fighter, and remained that way up until her last breath. Our mother has 4 children, (Vivian Tran, Thu Tran, Nikki Tran and Brian Tran), 10 grandchildren (Jonathan, Ryan, Hanson, Brandon, Andre, Ayden, Jenson, Mason, Noah, and Kate), and 2 wonderful son and daughter-in law (Duan Le, and Khanh Tran).

Everyday, we pray that God heals her abundantly. There were times where she was stabilized, communicating, and being playful with her grandkids. But there were also some downfalls, where she was too tired to cooperate with the nurses that took care of her.  They’ve had to work multiple times to bring her back but God knows that her body can only take so much. She had fought hard, no matter what. She’s a strong, brave, humble, caring, and loving person. It is her prayers that kept us strong. Her faith has helped us seek peace. She loves God, and now she with him in Heaven. Seeing a loved one suffer is traumatizing and painful. We love you mom. You’ve always taught us to be brave, humble, and to always live for God. This is how she had lived her life. What we mostly miss about her, are the fascinating stories she’d tell  about her life during all of her hard times in Vietnam and Cambodia. She had lived through multiple wars and explained how she had went through a lot of turmoil to us get here to America in 1985. She can tell you a lot if you ask her to tell you stories about her past life. We miss you momma/grandma. And we hope to eventually see you again! We all love you!

Thank you to those who have supported us during these hard times. During her hospitalization, we‘ve had a lot of support from family and friends from many places. Your words of hope and prayer make life a lot easier. Thank you all for the love and support. Much love to our family to yours!

We are opening a GoFundMe account  because many have asked us, ‘how can they help?’ This money would help pay some of the medical bills, and memorial service we have planned for our mother. We are overwhelmed by how much love we’ve received. Blessings to you!
