Hendrix has been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, an Envision program to be held this summer in Washington, D.C.

He was nominated by his teacher as a student who has achieved academic excellence and posseses strong leadership abilities.

Among the numerous benefits of attending the JrNYLC is the experience of enhancing his skills and learning how to apply them at home.

This would be a huge step on his path to success in high school ,college and his future career. There will be interactive workshops, group simulations, and historical site visits to help develop key skills. 

At JrNYLC he will be joining middle school students from around the country for an educational experience of a lifetime. Washington D.C. will serve as his living classroom at the National Museum of American History and the U.S. Capital Building. There will also be an exclusive visit to the Floor of The House while gaining insight from former and current members of Congress.

The deadline to fund this trip is May 15th. 

This trip would mean so much to Hendrix and would help set him up for success in his future.
