Jadon Christian's Funeral

Donation protected
Jadon Christian passed away unexpectedly early in the morning Saturday January 24, 2015.

The shock of his passing is made all the harder by the financial burden it places on Janet.  As a widow with several other children still at home she has very limited means.  We ask that in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to send their condolances make a donation to this funeral fund to help the family in this time of need.

Here is Jadon's Eulogy:

Jadon was an amazing young man, full of life, looking forward to the future. He was making plans to get his driver's permit, learning to drive and getting a job so he could buy a car. These are the things every young man wants and thinks about.

Jadon had his own opinions about everything and often expressed them in his daily journal. When his older brothers Tim and Travis got their cars he wrote that he didn't think that they were really mature enough yet. Nonetheless he really enjoyed riding around with them. They would sometimes treat him to hamburgers and soda and in this way he was able to experience a little of what it felt like to be a teenager. They would sometimes take their dog Jack along with them and go to the park and walk through the paths .

Jadon was particularly proud of his mustache, even though it was only a few hairs. It was darker than his brother's though and therefore it was better than theirs.

Jadon's favourite time of year was the 4th of July. All year long he would do chores and little things around the house and save the money he would earn so he could spend it all on fireworks.

Somehow along the way he learned the password to his mom's laptop. When everyone would leave and he was alone in the house he would sneak onto the laptop to play games. This was learned by reading his journal in which he faithfully recorded his daily life. He wrote about how he had managed to get the password and have free access to her computer. This explains why he was often eager to stay home on his own, his mom never had a clue.

When he was little he loved to tease his older brothers and sisters. If one of them was in trouble he would stand in front of them, wave and grin at them and say "ooh you got an I I" (this was what they called it when one of them got in trouble)

Jadon led a full and busy life. Some of his favourite things to do were: ride his bike, listen to music, shoot bb guns, play video games, draw pictures, write, read books, and of course, sneak on his mom's laptop.

There are so many special things we remember about Jay and these are just a few of the thoughts we wanted to share now. He will live forever in our hearts and we will cherish the memories he left us with. We loved him so much. Until we meet again, Lord we leave him in your hands.
