A WalkAid for Jessica
Donation protected
For all who know Jessica, you probably would agree that her smile and contagious joy can fill up a room. Even when things are tough, Jessica remains joyful in giving and faithful in prayer.
At age 17, Jessica suffered a massive stroke, leaving her with several years of medical struggles, hospital visits, and having to re-learn her cognitive and motor skills. Though she has experienced long suffering and physical struggles, Jessica has strong faith to be healed and to be fully restored physically.
She recently was introduced to a device to assist her in correcting her walking, by stimulating her muscles. The WalkAide Foot Drop Device utilizes electrical stimulation to activate the muscles and assist in appropriate movement, reducing hip damage and other risks due to foot drop.
Learning of this device gave Jessica new hopes. She was exstactic and talked about it for weeks. The ear to ear grin quickly disappeared when we learned of true cost to purchase the device. $5000!
At this time, we ask that all of Jessica's loved ones, family, and friends pull together and help Jessica with the purchase of this device. The goal is to have it by March 31st, 2016. We can do it!
There are no words for the incredible thankfulness Jessica would feel in her heart and how we can feel knowing we helped!
Lets be the Aid to get her the WalkAide device!
We thank you in advance!
