As many of you know, we lost an angel today. Kathy Siggins - someone who was a dear friend, a beloved wife, a dedicated mom, a kind sister, a loving aunt and a treasured, special colleague lost her battle today with cancer. She was surrounded by her family.
As you also know, Kathy was always thinking about other people before she thought of herself. She was selfless, gentle, and kind. So when it came time today to think of what I could do for Kathy at this time, my mind went to her beautiful daughters - the lights of her life. So, instead of flowers and cards, I would like to invite you to join me in making a contribution to her girls' futures - their college educations.
My name is Julie Griffith. Kathy and I worked together at IPC for ten years. The funds that have been donated into this account are intended to help pay for college her two daughters, Emma and Lily Siggins. As the family is residing in Ireland, I will be working with Kathy's husband, Emmet, to either set up a 529 plan here in the U.S. or sending him the funds to invest himself.
