Just a little update, these last few months have been incredibly hard and emotional. My niece, Lila, was in New Orleans Children's Hospital for months. She is now home for an unknown amount of time. She is on daily dialysis several hours a day. She is in renal failure and will be receiving many treatments including chemotherapy to stop her body from destroying the remaining 10% kidney function she has. Hopefully within the next few months she can be placed on the kidney recipient list. She is unable to do fun activities and normal kid things, but some how she has kept an amazing attitude through all of this. She is the bravest child I know, and I am so proud to have her in my life. The outpouring of love we have received has been truly overwhelming. The community, friends and family have been amazing!! Thank you everyone for your prayers and support!! We couldn't do this with out you guys!!
