It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Eddie Morales, a 15-year-old boy who left us on April 15th, 2025, after nearly two years of fighting with incredible strength and courage. Eddie was more than just a fighter — he was a bright light in our lives, full of resilience, love, and quiet bravery. Through all the pain, he never gave up.

It all began with symptoms that led to countless ER visits. Each time, his family was sent home with antibiotics and the same words: “He’ll be okay.” His father pleaded for deeper testing, begged for more answers, but a brain scan was never done — a devastating oversight that changed everything.

When the truth finally came to light, Eddie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. From that moment on, his parents, Karina and Gustavo, dedicated themselves fully to his care, around the clock, at home. They gave everything they had to make sure Eddie felt loved, safe, and never alone during the hardest time of his life.

Eddie leaves behind his little brother, Damian, who heartbreakingly turns 11 years old today, April 16th — just one day after losing his big brother. No child should have to face a birthday like this.

We are humbly asking for your support — to help us cover the funeral expenses and also to provide the family with a bit of breathing room during this time of unimaginable grief. Their world has stopped, and they need time to heal without immediately worrying about how to manage life’s basic necessities. Your kindness can help give them that space.

Ayúdanos a darle el último adiós a Eddie Morales

Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la triste noticia del fallecimiento de Eddie Morales, un joven de tan solo 15 años que partió de este mundo el 15 de abril del 2025, tras luchar con una fuerza increíble durante casi dos años. Eddie fue mucho más que un guerrero: fue una luz en nuestras vidas, lleno de valentía, amor y resistencia. A pesar de todo lo que enfrentó, nunca dejó de luchar.

Todo comenzó con síntomas que lo llevaron incontables veces a la sala de emergencias. Una y otra vez fue enviado de regreso a casa con antibióticos y promesas de que “iba a estar bien”. Su papá suplicó que le hicieran más estudios, pidió que no lo mandaran a casa otra vez sin respuestas, pero nunca se le hizo una tomografía. Fue un error médico devastador que cambió sus vidas para siempre.

Cuando por fin se descubrió la verdad, ya era demasiado tarde. Eddie tenía un tumor cerebral. Desde ese momento, sus padres, Karina y Gustavo, se dedicaron en cuerpo y alma a cuidarlo día y noche en casa, dándole todo el amor y cuidado posible hasta su último respiro.

Eddie deja atrás a su hermanito Damian, quien hoy, 16 de abril, cumple 11 años. Un cumpleaños que ningún niño debería pasar así, enfrentando la pérdida de su hermano mayor.

Hoy les pedimos su apoyo para poder cubrir los gastos del funeral y también para brindarle a la familia un pequeño respiro financiero durante este momento tan doloroso. Su mundo se detuvo, y necesitan tiempo para poder levantarse nuevamente, para poder llorar, sanar y estar juntos sin tener que preocuparse inmediatamente por los gastos del día a día o por cómo seguir adelante.
