Our families "eff you" to cancer.
As many of you know my mom was recently diagnosed with stage 3a melanoma. It was devastating news as our family had already endured a recent tragedy. Initial thoughts were negative, prognosis was grim and options were limited. To no surprise (to any of you I'm sure) my mom decided to jump into the ring and take this disease head on! With countless hours of research, questioning and reading, my mom discovered a natural approach as the best ammunition to fight this cancer. With drastic nutrition changes, natural supplements and a healthy lifestyle she has received a 6 month clear scan, all of which was made possible by family and friends who rallied around her. The unfortunate part of her treatment is the expense of natural foods and the fact that most of her treatments are not covered by insurance. The harsh realty that being healthy comes at a price. So, this Christmas our family is asking for any support to provide us with a healthy mother, nana, friend and wife, the anchor of our family. My mom has to many things keeping her here and will not lay down and let this beat her!
We would love to continue to fight with some monetary support from our friends and family. This would give my mom the encouragement to keep fighting at the rate she has been! Any support is appreciated and all your thoughts and prayers has not gone unnoticed!
