Hello, my name is Cielomar and I am fundraising for a dear friend, Kay Girlie Cecile A. Barcenas.



Yesterday, 24 June 2022, I learned the devastating news that our dearest Kay has been diagnosed with Stage IIIB (3B) cervical cancer. Apparently, Kay has been battling this dreadful disease quietly for at least two months and has lost 40 pounds…

Kay has been to see three oncologists with varying reactions and prognosis: one said, Kay needs a miracle; another said, it’s too late; however, the third, oncologist and gynaecologist gave Kay hope and is treating her now. 

Kay is currently undergoing - 

(1) radiotherapy daily, 

(2) chemotherapy once a week, and 

(3) brachytherapy twice a week. 

These are necessary treatments to keep the cancer at bay and hopefully be eradicated. 

These therapies are not only draining Kay physically and mentally but also financially… 

There’s no other way to put this - our dearest Kay needs our help now and urgently. We need to do what we have to to give Kay hope, hope for a cure, hope that we care and love her, and hope that God moves in mysterious and loving ways.

While there may be challenges along the way, we can reassure Kay that our love, faith, loyalty, friendship, resilience, and hope are in the right place, in our hearts and minds, for Kay.

Please HELP US as we fight with Kay and see the bright morning after the bleakness of this devastating sickness. 

Please keep Kay always in your prayers and intentions. God’s love is infinite, His mercy, boundless, and His Healing profound.
