In February, SPHS Theatre students traveled to compete at the annual SC International Thespian/Palmetto Dramatic Association's Festival. Our hard work paid off, as 11 students were awarded Superiors (the highest distinction) and our one-act production of Digging Up Dessa was selected to represent South Carolina at the International Thespian Festival this June in Indiana.

Note: $40,000 is the estimated total cost for our students to travel to nationals. Any funds raised in excess of these costs will be deposited and maintained in the South Pointe High School Theatre Booster fund for future use for the benefit of our theatre students and our troupe.
