Breast Cancer Surgery & Treatment
Donation protected
Hey friends. If you know me , you know I hate asking for help but here goes ... I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer).
I have the lumpectomy surgery scheduled for mid October and I must pay the hospital a $6,000 down payment , and then I can make payments on the remaining portion of the hospital bill which is over 28,000 Then I will have the surgeon's bill, the anesthesiologist's bill, the pathology bill, the radiation treatment bills, and so on and so on. I'm not someone who has that kind of money just sitting around, so it is my responsibility to come up with the money for the surgery and aftercare. If I cannot pay the upfront cost, my surgery will be cancelled and my risk of the cancer going further will increase. I have been fighting with health insurance company telling me that nothing is covered since they claim it was a pre-existing. Even though I have provided them with the past thirteen years of negative mammograms, they still will pay nothing towards any of the procedures or the after treatments needed. The surgery cannot wait, so I am in a difficult position.
Remember even a dollar helps . If everyone on my Facebook donated even $5 bucks I would be a lot closer to covering these initial surgeries and begin the healing process from this traumatic event a lot sooner without the worry of financial burden. Anything you can contribute helps and I am forever grateful for your love and support.
The Woodworking Shows has been my life for the past 20 years and it saddens me to not be able to attend the shows this year due to the treatment and the recovery time that is needed. I have had the opportunity to met and work with so many amazing people over the years and will miss every one of them this year.
Good Times with family at The Woodworking Shows
My Grandson dedicated his game to me and Breast Cancer. Very proud and emotional day
