Many of you know that I’ve been quite a journey since May, and the journey continues this November when I’ll head to Guangzhou, China to teach English! A number of you have asked how you can help...and here’s my answer! It is recommended that I arrive in China with $3,000 in cash to account for settling in, leasing a new apartment (which is quite a different process in China!), and other expenses that come with an international move.
I’ve already been given so much help for which I will always be grateful—groceries, gas money, food, not to mention a room at good ol’ Mom and Dad’s! I have been working at Starbucks and driving for Lyft as much as possible, but the shift from my previous income, catching up from a few weeks without work, and “life” has made saving extremely difficult!
If you’re so inclined, I’d greatly appreciate your help! I know there are a million causes you can donate to, and I know many people are in greater need than I. A “share” or link to friends or family would also go a long way. If you’re a praying person, pray that God will provide. I’ve seen it time and time again over the last 3 months and have no doubt it will be taken care of.
