Urgent Help for Family in Need!

I am writing this on behalf of Melanie, a faithful, hardworking mother who has always done her best to provide for her family and walk in integrity. Asking for help is not something Melanie takes lightly, but she is currently facing circumstances that are simply more than one person can carry alone.
After being laid off from her job with the state, Melanie’s financial stability began to unravel despite her best efforts to keep up. She worked tirelessly to catch up and recently started a new job, believing she was finally nearing solid ground again. Unfortunately, before she could fully recover, another storm hit.
Melanie is now short on rent and has received a three-day pay-or-quit notice. Shortly after, her car was repossessed, making it extremely difficult for her to get to work and meet daily responsibilities. Even after paying the balance down as much as possible, she still owes $4,911 on the vehicle. These events happened quickly and all at once, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and fearful of what tomorrow holds.
Through it all, Melanie has remained rooted in her faith. She continually reminds herself that “The Lord has never forsaken me, and He will not start now.” She has humbled herself, reached out to her church, and sought help where she can. She is willing to work, volunteer, or do whatever is asked of her to restore stability and move forward.
We have set a goal of $10,000, which will help:
• Cover past-due rent and prevent eviction
• Work toward recovering reliable transportation
• Catch up on essential bills
• Provide a small cushion so Melanie can stabilize while continuing in her new job
If you feel led to give, please know that every donation—no matter the amount—is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser or keeping Melanie in your prayers is just as meaningful.
We believe God uses people to be His hands and feet, and we trust that He will make a way through this season. Thank you for taking the time to read Melanie’s story and for standing with her in faith, compassion, and love.
