My name is Tayla Lucchese. I am starting this go fund me in hopes to help out a very dear friend of mine Tara Lane. Tara and I sadly both bonded after the loss of both of our brothers who were our absolute best friends. Tara and I quickly became best friends, and I consider her like a sister. For any one who has encountered a great loss you know the feeling of constant agony, heart break and hopelessness. Tara brought Mila home almost exactly a year ago in July.  I have never truly seen her shine brighter than having this pup. Her smile was genuine again, her laugh was pure , and her heart was full. Mila has brought so much joy to Tara’s life after all she has been through, it really is true that a dog can uplift even the most broken spirits. Mila recently had an accident where her knee is in two pieces and she has a torn meniscus. The vet had estimated the cost of this surgery and it’s over $6000 and there is no payment plan offered. Tara lives with just another room mate trying to make ends meet day in and day out.( I know we all are but this is where I need everyone’s help). Tara has been through so much in the past couple of years and Mila is the only thing that has brought Tara back to reality. She can not afford the surgery on her own, and it may force her to give Mila away. That is the last thing i would want for Tara to endure any more pain she has already been through. I would do anything for her , and I know Tara would do anything for me.
