KWC Baseball Alumni Helping KY Tornado Victims

My name is Adam “Wojo” Wojtelwicz, proud member of the 1990 Kentucky Wesleyan Baseball Team. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our many friends in Western Kentucky who have suffered from the tornado on December 10th. Our group consists of myself, Tom Miley, Tim, Rogers, Chris Gamble (Oscar), Devin Blazier, Ryan Lemond (Chet), and  Barry Oakley. We all have good friends and close family members who were hard hit in this area. Our intent is to raise money and deliver needed supplies (water, generators, diapers, toiletries) to those impacted by this horrific storm. Our plan is to deliver these items on Saturday December 18th to the Bremen and Earlington areas.   All funds will go right to those in need. Any dollar amount is appreciated.

We have agreed that once we fill the 26 foot Uhaul, we will donate any remaining proceeds to the family of Ricki Allen. Ricki was a former teammate of ours who was a star basketball and baseball player at Bremen High School. He played baseball at KWC but had to leave the team early on in his college career to go back and help him family. He went on to be a retired KY State Police Captain and former School Resource Officer at Muhlenberg County School System. He was serving his first term as Muhlenberg C. Sherriff when he passed away from a heart attack on Sept. 29, 2020. Our funds will go to his wife Amy and two children Jake and Emmy. Ricky always had a bright smile and would be the first person to pitch in and help as you can tell from the very hard decision he made in College. Unselfish and hard working all the way.
