Support Jacob Munger After Serious Car Accident

Please help support the Munger family during this incredibly difficult time.

On the night of Wednesday, March 11, Jacob Munger was involved in a devastating car accident. Emergency responders worked for nearly 30 minutes to safely extract him from his vehicle before he was life-flighted to HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, where he was admitted to the trauma unit.

Jacob successfully underwent his first surgery to repair severe injuries to his leg and was then placed in the ICU. Since then, he has undergone multiple surgeries to treat broken bones and other serious injuries throughout his body. His recovery will be long and challenging.

Jacob has been a dedicated educator in the Nocatee, Florida community for the past five years at Pine Island Academy, where he is a beloved PE teacher and volleyball coach. Known for his positivity, leadership, and care for his students, Jacob has made a lasting impact on so many young people and families in the community.

The faculty and staff at Pine Island Academy have already begun rallying around Jacob and his family with financial support. We are now reaching out to the broader community for help.

The costs associated with Life Flight transport, ICU care, multiple surgeries, and a prolonged hospital stay will be significant. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.

Jacob, his wife, and their 3-year-old son are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, and kindness they have already received.
