Hi everyone,
I hoping you can help me with my tuition for a special summer program in Piscotta, Italy this summer. My drama professor at SUNY Purchase encouraged me to apply, and I was selected!
I will get 6 credits when I complete the program, which means I'll have a double major - drama and music - when I graduate next June. (Click here for a link to the program.) I'm going to be studying Italian, street theater, and classic Italian cinema. We'll be traveling to Rome, Florence, and Pompeii to study ancient art and theatre ruins.
The course costs an estimated $7,342.62. So far, I've got a Pell and TAP grants worth $1,448.25. I'm cashing out my savings account of $1,021. My parents are going to kick in $750. That means I need $4,123.37 to make this happen.
I'll need the funds by June 10, which, for is also my 21st birthday! If you were going to give me a birthday present -- here's the best present you could ever give me!
I will be so appreciative if you can help me get to Italy. Thanks for any help you can give!
