Dave's Heart Journey

As many of you know, Dave recently was diagnosed with Giant Cell Myocarditis. This is an extremely rare and aggressive autoimmune disease that is attacking his heart. His team is trying to control it with medication, but he will most likely need a heart transplant. We started this GoFundMe to help our parents with expenses that come with long, complicated hospital stays. Things like long term housing in Fort Lauderdale for mom, as well as medical expenses that go along with getting accepted as a heart transplant patient, the possible subsequent transplant, and recovery journey. Dad is a fighter, and stubborn as a mule, so we know that he will do great. He will fight through this so that he can get back to the things he loves like golfing, riding his bike, and playing monsters with his grandkids!
