My name is Cody. I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I have no memory of the accident itself or the 4 days following. I was on my way to work, and the next thing I know, I'm waking up in Memorial Hermann. I had a titanium rod replace my tibia, my collarbone is broken, my arm is broken and required screws, and tissue was taken from my left thigh to help strengthen the tissue around the area where the rod is screwed to the bone, I am unable to put any weight on my right leg, menial tasks like standing, and especially walking, are not possible, which prohibits me from going to work.
I'm looking at 6-10 weeks before I can even consider putting weight on my right leg, and am bedridden and unable to work. I could use some support for bills, power, phone, food, and expenses in the meantime, until I can get back to work. I am a US Army veteran, and it is difficult to have to ask for help, as I love to work. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and especially for any assistance provided. Regardless, I wish health and safety for you and your loved ones.
