Remy is the most caring and kind 6 year old pittie who unfortunately is fighting pulmonary carcinoma. He is the love of our life, our only fur baby and deserving of a long, happy life. We are reaching out to our friends, family and community to help us during this difficult time as we navigate the financial changes to help give our boy a fighting chance.

Monthly blood draws and the cost of his chemotherapy are certainly not cheap and all of the donations will go to helping us pay his medical bill.

Remy required life saving surgery on 9/19/23 due to a lung tumor pressing on his airways. His story is below. Anything donated will help as this was a major unexpected expense. ❤️ thank you. 

We would like to politely ask for your help in assisting with Remy's new medical challenge. Recently, Remy developed a cough that decided to linger for a little too long. After a round of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and anti-vomit, the cough didn't go away. 

Last week, we took him in for x-rays which revealed a large, 8.3 cm mass on his right lung. At a glance, 8.3 cm is roughly the size of an orange. At 5 & 1/2 years old, Remy now faces the high possibility of lung cancer. Hearing the word "tumor" from our vet instantly darkened our world and the words that came after were non-existent. We won't know until further testing if the tumor is cancerous although his doctors seem very certain that it is.

We do know however that our next steps involve blood work, more in-depth scans such as CT scans and ultrasounds (many of which will require sedation) and ultimately the strong possibility of surgery. At this moment, our goal of $1500 is to help pay for his CT Scan. The goal may update as more information is given to us. 

We are understandably heartbroken as Remy has become such a huge part of our lives and at only 5 years old, we are willing to do what it takes to ensure that he lives out the rest of his years on this earth happy and healthy.

The upcoming medical bills that we will face are going to be challenging and as hard as this is for us we would like to reach out to our family, friends and community.
