Womens Aid

At the end of Sept I will be running the Chicago 1/2 marathon raising funds for Women's Aid. Having never ran more than a few 5kms before this is quite the undertaking for me.

Please support me in supporting Womens Aid so we can ensure more women are protected and safe from rape, domestic violence and coercive control.

Women's Aid is a leading national frontline organisation supporting women and children subjected to domestic violence including coercive control in Ireland. We run the 24hr National Freephone Helpline on 1800 341 900 and an Instant Message Support Service www.womensaid.ie.

We also act for justice and social change by raising awareness, advocating for legal and systems change and by providing expert training to frontline organisations and employers on how to respond to anyone disclosing abuse.
