It is in humble gesture that we, the family of John Mariaria Ongeri solicit financial help to help offset medical and funeral expenses. On Friday February 28, 2020, Our Dad John succumbed to Cancer after a valiant and brave battle that lasted a good part of seven years.
As a family, we have relied heavily on God, friends and our own resources to give our father the best care and treatment. The very expensive nature of cancer treatment has has been a constant challenge often depleting every resource available but never did our spirits and determination quiver.
We now find ourselves without a dad, and a mountain of debt, not to mention the big task of giving our father a decent and well deserved farewell. Our father was a hero and a servant to the less fortunate. He wore many hats, hats that offered leadership and improving the human condition. His generous nature, love for education and service to God saw him plant churches, lead philanthropic drives and put a lot of kids through school.
He has now rested from the labors of this world and awaits the trumpet sound on Resurrection morning. His legacy lives on as we begin life with the big shoes that will never be filled. We will be forever indebted to your generosity. I will borrow from his last words and say THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
