Support James' Final Farewell

It is with a broken heart that I share the unexpected passing of my son, James William Herrera. At this time, we are still waiting for answers, and the only thing we can tell you for sure is that experiencing this loss only two years after losing Chris, has left a deep and painful hole in our family. James was 43 years old and a proud father of five beautiful children. He leaves behind Aleya, Myah, James Jr, and Mariah. He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Nicholas.

Over the past year, James was finally at a turning point in his life with sobriety and being the father he always wanted to be. We are still in disbelief that his life was taken, and there was nothing we could do to save him. Regardless of the past life my son lived, he didn't deserve this. He deserved to raise his children and watch them grow, he deserved to experience life outside of addiction and prison, he just deserved more.

James had a huge heart, a contagious laugh, and the funniest guy you ever met. We come to you with open arms and ask for your support in giving my son the "goodbye" he deserves.
