I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your love, prayers, and support for our close family friends, daughter, Katelyn.

Katelyn is just 15 years old — turning 16 on August 19th — and should be thinking about her upcoming birthday, friends, and her sophomore year of high school. Instead, she’s facing the fight of her life.

On July 26, she was enjoying a beautiful summer day at the lake. Just days later, her world turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.

Now, Katelyn is in the hospital undergoing intensive chemotherapy and other treatments that will mean long hospital stays, countless doctor visits, and some very hard days ahead. Through it all, she’s showing incredible strength and determination — but she and her family shouldn’t have to face this battle alone.
