Hi, my name is Jennifer and my brother Tim Steger was a missionary and had spent almost 30 yrs traveling the entire world spreading the word of God and his teachings directly to the people. Last week my family was informed by the US embassy in Laos that my brother had died in a small town there. We are all still in shock but the worst part of all this is that due to restrictions within the Laotian government as well as the bordering countries, they will not allow his body to be released back to his family in the US. However, they will allow him to be cremated there and his remains to be sent back home to us - but at our own cost. With everything that is involved in this process we were told the cost to get my brother home would run about $3,500. If anyone could please help my family raise the funds to get a child of God back to his final resting place, we would be forever grateful. Thank you to everyone.
