Rosa's Funeral Expenses

Hello family and friends. As you know, our mother, grandmother, friend and sister in Christ, Rosa Rodriguez, was called by our Holy Father to her eternal rest on Friday, February 19, 2016. Although she labored since 2003, 13 years, with her failing heart, her dialysis and most recently the uncertainty of lung cancer and failing lungs, Rosa was always an example of love, determination and a zeal for life. She never complained about being in pain or any type of suffering. On the contrary, she always had a beautiful, warm and happy smile for everyone. My mom touched so many lives with her simple and sincere way of life. She was the center and spark of our family and we will all miss her.
She dedicated her entire life to her family, parents, children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a dedicated parishioner originally at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church and her final years at Good Shepard Catholic Church. She was also active and a servant for the John XXIII (Juan XXIII) Retreat Movement up until her health did not allow her to participate.
Being of modest means and living out her golden years on a fixed income (social security), she could not make any arrangements for her funeral and burial expenses. She has left behind three daughters and we are trying to raise the funds for a viewing, Catholic mass and proper burial. We are not looking at an extravegant funeral service and burial but a fitting, proper, dignified christian burial. That is what she asked for and what we would like to give her.
We are in the process of making arrangements but it is in the thousands of dollars as you can imagine. The monies will be used for funeral, burial and church services. Any generous donation would be greatly appreciated. Whatever you can donate will be appreciated and will serve as a blessing in this time of need. Unfortunately, the funeral parlors and cemetaries do not wait for payment. The sooner we receive the donations; we will begin the arrangements.
