On August 11, 2025, my dear friend Maria passed away after a sudden decline in her health. Her passing was totally unexpected and very difficult to comprehend. Maria was a kind-hearted woman who shared love and compassion with many people. She opened her home and her heart, making cherished meals for many family members and friends.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Her warmth, generosity, and spirit touched so many lives, and her absence is felt deeply by all who knew her.

In this time of grief, we want to show the Silvas how much their community cares. Our goal is to raise $9,000 to help with funeral costs, diapers, formula, and other baby supplies, back-to-school needs for the boys, and to provide the family with meals as they navigate through these next few weeks.
