ArLene's Breast Cancer Battle
Donation protected
In February, I cycled 576 mi/937 km during a 24-hour, non-drafting race. This is the furthest documented distance completed by any American cyclist. During the difficult moments of that race, my mom's familiar voice entered my mind as I recalled hearing her cheers beneath the water during high school swim meets. She has always been my biggest cheerleader!
Whether you call her mom, sister, aunt, grandmom, or friend, ArLene is known for her fierce loyalty and unconditional support! She shows up when she's needed most.
As she begins treatment for Stage 3 Breast Cancer, we are rallying support. There is an unexpected financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis. We are sensitive of the many demands for your hard-earned dollar, but for those looking to ease this burden, we hope to subsidize her insurance deductible with your donations.
On April 19, 2025 I plan to attempt the 24-hour Virtual Cycling Guinness World Record and World Ultra-Cycling Association Record. My goal is to complete 650 miles. I hope this effort also brings awareness to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help others affected by this disease. I will be BUSTing Records for Breast Cancer!
