Help My Mother Beat Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Yousef Abu-Salah, and I am a low-income, first-generation immigrant and college senior at Vanderbilt University. I am raising money for my mother, Nadia, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. We are a family of four with two kids in college and one about to start who cannot afford the treatment necessary to help my mother. All donations will directly contribute to my mom’s current and future medical costs, including chemotherapy, MRI scans, surgeries including mastectomy (removes entire breast), living expenses (including grocery delivery and meal preparation), and anything else our family may need to make this journey easier.
Nadia is my shining light. My mom has always been the brightest source of support in all the difficult points of our lives, and her incredible resilience has been inspirational ever since I was a kid. There is nothing that brings me more joy than hearing her laughter, and we regularly spend weeknights and weekends watching anime together with the rest of the family (our favorite pastime). I would not be the man I am today without her support. Our entire family shares this belief – she is our collective rock and an invaluable presence in our lives, shaping our beliefs and passions. Above all, Nadia is a loyal and loving mother, sister, wife, and friend, with a strong desire to help people in need and an unshakeable belief in God that has been her greatest support. And now, more than ever, she needs our help.
If you are able to donate, provide support, send well wishes, share this fundraiser, give love, or more, we are grateful for any and all assistance. We understand that not everyone can provide a financial contribution, but please consider sharing our campaign with your network. Every single bit is one step closer to ensuring that my mother and our family will be able to push past this difficult time.
