Hi, my name is Haley Roberts and I am raising money on behalf of my dad losing his house to an electrical fire without insurance. He is my best friend and I only hope to do as much as I can for him as he does for me. My brother and I would give the world for him to be happy because he really does deserve it. I set up this go fund me secretly because my dad NEEDS the stress off of him, he does not deserve anymore hardships this year, so please anything will help.

Today, my dad had a electrical fire that damaged almost all of his house. Smoke and fire damage beyond repair, along with injuries of two dogs who are seeking immediate medical attention and a loss of two pet bunnies that belonged to my brothers step-kids.

This year has been hard for my family but even harder for my dad. Just these past few months, my Dad has suffered losing both his Dad and his best friend. While also dealing with the coping of medical disturbances and the trauma/coping that have come along with these losses and recovering. With this being said, my dad had struggled to just get himself out of a rut and his homeowners insurance got cut off without him even realizing given surrounding circumstances. Both me and my brother have tried our best to be emotionally and physically supportive and help take care of him to our best advantage but we are only capable of so much.

My dad currently lives in a 3 bedroom house with 4 other people (my brother and 2 kids) in Comanche, Texas. While he’s one of the hardest working people I know, most of his money goes towards making sure me and my brother are never struggling, putting our needs before his. He takes pride in owning his house and talks about it nearly everyday with me. He just recently told me that he was going to redo and organize his place once he gets back to being himself :( . This is just yet another roadblock that my dad is having to deal with. Without insurance, we’re assuming this will be about $30,000 to $40,000 in damages. Like I mentioned, ANYTHING, litterally anything will help. I just want my dad to get the same help that he gives to others, to help give him some relief.

All Donations will be going towards repairs, lost belongings, medical bills, and replacements of a better/safer home.
